The admission procedure in GSMC&H in MBBS course starts with National & State level government counseling and candidates allotted through counseling come to college with their allotment letter and gets their admission confirmation letter.

  • A dedicated admission cell under the supervision of the Head-Admissions works to make the admission process faster and easier for the students. The admission cell guides & counsels the students on the program details and answers all their queries.

    Criteria/Guidelines/Rules for Admissions

  • Candidate must qualify NEET exam conducted in same year.

  • Pre-qualification examination criteria for all Undergraduate programmes is completion of Class 12th from any recognized boards of India.

  • To qualify for admission in GS Group in any Undergraduate programme, the applicants must complete 17 years of age on 31st December of the academic year in which they are seeking admission.

  • Updates, if any, will be notified on the GSMC&H website and no individual communication will be sent to the candidates.

  • All differences and disputes arising in the interpretation and implementation of any section in this Prospectus will be referred to the Head-Admissions and his/her decision shall be final and binding.

  • Once college admission fee/academic fee/any fee deposited in college can not be withdrawn or refunded under any circumstances. However, if the student gets a seat in some other course run by the GSMC&H within the time schedule for admissions, full or a part of fee may be transferred to that course as per the policy of the Group.

  • If the payment is remitted through online wire transfer/direct deposit in college account, please inform the college immediately either in accounts department at accounts@gsmedicalcollege.in or Admission cell officials.

  • Payment of all college dues should be made latest by the Due Date.

  • If any amount remains unpaid for 60 days after the Due Date, Students name shall be removed from college rolls and he/she shall be terminated without any prior information.

  • Bank Charges, if any, shall be debited to student’s account.

  • Dishonored/Bounced cheques shall attract penalty as per college rules.

Education Loan Assistance

GSMC&H aims to support deserving/meritorious students in availing financial assistance for pursuing their higher education. In order to encourage students to take up higher education despite their financial shortcomings, nowadays, most banks are providing attractive loan facility to students. Students can avail loan from any bank. However, for the benefit of its students, GSMC&H has tie-up with “HDFC BANK Ltd”.

We help our students in speedy disposal of their loan applications across the state. During June-August, a kiosk is set up inside the GS campus for the benefit of students seeking financial assistance from the bank.

Procedure for Availing Bank Loan Assistance

Students who want to apply for Educational Loan will need an offer letter from the respective GS College. The college will provide the requisite offer letter as required by the bank for loan purposes, as and if believed appropriate.

However, the students and their parents/guardians shall be responsible for obtaining sanction and repayment of the sanctioned loan and all kinds of liabilities and consequences arising thereof, if any. GSMC&H shall not be liable and responsible in this regard.

Refund policy

Once college admission fee/academic fee/any fee deposited in college can not be withdrawn or refunded under any circumstances.

There is no provision of refund.
