Dr. Surendra Kumar is graduate (MBBS) from L.L.R.M Medical College, Meerut, Diploma in Anaesthesia from M.D University, Rohtak, M.D Anaesthesia from P.G.I. MER Chandigarh and M.B.A (Health care Administration) from faculty of Management Sciences Delhi University. His total work experience in the speciality is about 35 yrs, and administrative experience is more than 20 yrs . During his work tenure, he also held various positions at Government Hospitals like Hindu Rao Hospital (presently known as Government Medical College) and other major hospitals of Delhi. He was superannuated from the post from the post of Additional Director Medical and T.B. EDMC, Govt. of N.C.T. Delhi.
During his carrier he has been a post graduate teacher and has guided the thesis and research work of number of students doing post graduation in Anesthesiology . He is recognized as supervisor to guide Ph.D students in the Anesthesiology vide Letter No. FMS/2006/363 dt.07.02.2006 by faculty of Medical Sciences, Delhi University.

He has attended many national and international conferences, has delivered CME Lectures and Chaired many scientific sessions and has about 12 Scientific publications in various national journals. Dr. S. Kumar after Superanuation from the Govt. Service on 31.01.2016 joined on 01.02.2016 as professor in Anesthesiology and medical Superintendent W.C.M.S. Jhajjar, Haryana, also worked at Radha Govind Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut, U.P., also worked at Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre Hapur U.P w.e.f 15.06.2017 to 04.08.2020 and now joined on the same post w.e.f 05.08.2020 at G.S. Medical College and Hospital, Pilkhuwa, Distt. Hapur.
